Resumen:
Banco Magyar is the fictitious name of one of the three banks resulting from the split-up of the Hungarian Central Bank. A few years later the bank is acquired by an American institution, which sends one of its analysts to manage the Hungarian subsidiary. This case serves as an introduction to the Personnel Management course and provides material for discussion of the differences between the managerial role and the role of the specialist.
